This summer has been so busy that I’ve basically had no time to read at all and I am having a major panic about it. It’s like school is starting and I haven’t even thought of the summer reading list.

I set a goal on GoodReads to read 50 books this year and I’m usually several books ahead of schedule but as of right now I’m three books BEHIND. I mean…

Call me crazy but I like to physically read my books and I’ve never once listened to an audiobook. Is that weird? I also don’t use a kindle. Give me ink and paper, baby! I find that with an audiobook, if the narrator’s voice is annoying it gives me the ick and I’m turned off from the story. I’d rather read with the voices in my head. Haha

As of right now I’m trying really hard to get through the first book of the Crescent City series. I put a lot of you onto ACOTAR who have then gone and blown through CC. There’s high hopes for CC but as of right now I don’t think I can commit to a series. I need light, flirty, fun beach reads that are heavy on the smut lol

I’m so behind with books that I’m not even caught up on reads for my book clubs (yes, plural lol). My TBR list is overflowing but hoping to catch up sometime soon. I need a solid beach day where I can finish a book in one setting because to me that’s the real definition of summer reading.
