You probably never knew you needed this…but you do.
I created the lavender shower when I was working night shift. I made it part of my routine every morning before I got into bed to sleep for the day. There’s nothing worse than getting home from a shift and feeling wired to hell and not being able to fall asleep.
What the lavender shower entails is a few simple things…
First, I light a lavender scented candle. Next, I grab lavender essential oil and place it, uncapped, in the shower where it won’t get directly wet. I grab my amethyst piece and leave it on the counter next to the candle for a little crystal magic. Then, I turn off the lights and let the scalding hot water rain down on me.
Sometimes I’ll use lavender soap and lotion when I feel like getting a bit carried away. What I do absolutely LOVE and use routinely afterwards is SoapyLayne’s lavender balm. I apply some behind both my ears, both wrists and right at my third eye point. If you really want to go the extra mile, put some lavender oil in a diffuser * in your bedroom. I know I sound like a lunatic but when you have to sleep during the day why NOT overdose with lavender!?

I always have lavender if you’re ever need it in a pinch
